Our Story
There are some factors which human beings should not have to struggle to achieve, and those are to attain basic shelter, food, a sense of security and well-being for themselves and their families.
On a personal level, founder Lubna Farooq long strived to meet the needs of the less fortunate, but always felt that she could not make a substantial impact due to her demanding career. She decided to leave her corporate career and embarked on the journey to focus on serving the community.
With the support of family and close friends, LEAN Foundation USA was established to aid the underprivileged and disadvantaged individuals on a national and global level.
Our focus is to up Lift, Educate, Assist and Nurture the underprivileged and disadvantaged for a better and sustainable future.

We are a public charity organization registered in the state of Illinois. Tax Exempt 501c (3) status is under IRS review, approval expected in year 2021.
